When there are clear phases and benchmarks in the ‘performance management’ process, the aim of transforming students into high-achieving individuals can be adequately achieved. The paper's objective is to identify any research gaps in ‘performance management’ in ‘higher education’ and make recommendations for future courses using Bibliometric Analysis.
